Dear Sir or Madam,
I think you seriously overestimate the importance of velcro. Now I'm not some kind of anti-velcro nut, but there are plenty of other efficient ways to secure an object to a surface. For example, 3m's delightfully useful range of command strip adhesives. Whether Velcro is more useful or effective than the equivalent 3m product is open to question. You do yourself no favours by suggesting velcro is superior in all regards.
Furthermore, in some situations, a velcro grip is definitely not required. For example, in your TV ads, you have a women fastening her drink to a table with velcro. I can only assume that this poor woman has a disability or some kind of neurological impairment, because your average citizen needs nothing more than gravity to ensure their drink stays attached to the table. I do not wear a seat belt whilst on the toilet, and I do not need velcro to secure my drinks. This is overkill and makes me skeptical of other velcro related claims.
I have enjoyed velcro for many years now, however, my relationship with your historic product is at an all time low. Please attempt to rectify the situation.

Have a nice day
